Capturing the spirit that underlies dance music in its various forms; the atmosphere of the early raves; the carefree attitude; the lack of prejudices both on the stage and on the dancefloor; the ecstatic moments shared with strangers from all walks of life, united together by the primordial force called the rhythm. Faciendo have been sharing this ethos with the world for many years, moved by the one and only endless energy which is the love for music. It comes then as the next natural step forward, the creation of a label through which to continue this mission.

For the first release, Scott Featherstone provides two original productions that pervade exactly by the same values and feelings that move Faciendo, carrying the zeitgeist of the early days of dance culture, untouched, into this millennium. This debut EP, “Vinaloop”, does exactly that, the title track is an energetic and upliftinging dance floor hammer, ode to the original summer of love with its positive and spiritual attitude. On the flip side finds the sublime and emotive “Lifeflows” another long lost gem found on DAT by Scott recently, it sounds like an early slice of electronic detroit soul, but true to Scotts energetic style, always with the right elements to move a dance floor. Completing the EP is a lush grooving remix from man of the moment Taylor Freels, aka Urulu and Liquid Earth.

Following the re-release of Drexciya’s essentials 'Neptune's Lair', 'Hydro Doorways', 'Harnessed The Storm' and 'Digital Tsunami', the reissue series continues with Transllusion’s ‘Opening Of The Cerebral Gate’ and the ‘Mind Over Positive And Negative Dimensional Matter’ 12”. Produced by the late James Marcel Stinson and released in 2001 via Supremat, a short-lived sub-label Tresor dedicated to a more abstract and experimental electro sound, ‘The Opening Of The Cerebral Gate’ was conceived as the second part of the so-called Drexciyan Storms – a whopping stack of seven albums by the Detroit pair released under dierent monikers within a single year. This phase marks a groundbreaking time for the duo, their cosmos breaking wide open, right at the dawn of a new technological era in electronic music production. All this is deeply reflected in Transllusion’s first album. Six years before the release of his landmark Mother Earth’s Plantasia LP, composer and arranger Mort Garson met experimental film director Skip Sherwood, who was interested in an electronic score for his new movie, Didn’t You Hear? While not much is known now about the exact nature of their collaboration, we have Garson’s magnificent score as a record of those heady, early days after his life-changing discovery of the Moog synthesizer. Notable for being one of the earliest screen appearances by a young Gary Busey, Didn’t You Hear? also boasts one of the first-ever all-electronic movie scores. Though the score was first released in 1970, it sounds as adventurous and futuristic today as it must have then.Originally available only in the lobby of the theater at screenings of the movie in Seattle, the soundtrack LP went out of print shortly after the film's release. It has been a sought-after record for collectors of Mort Garson and early electronic music ever since. Sacred Bones is honored to reissue Didn’t You Hear? as it was meant to be heard, taken from the original master tapes and given a pristine remaster by engineer Josh Bonati.
The roots of Leo Anibaldi's sound. “Pro Pop” (2023) is his first instrumental hip hop album, or an incredible mix of different musical genres, always among his favorite listens, as well as a constant source of inspiration during his 'early life' as an electronic producer. The 'second' starts now. Over the months of the pandemic, the historic Italian artist has literally centrifuged blues, funk, jazz, r 'n' b and, of course, hip hop sounds within eleven brand new songs. The idea behind the project entrusted to Neo Life Records is simple: create music that can be enjoyed by everyone and listened to in company in all circumstances. A choice that also coincides with an 'old school' recording technique with old 60s microphones and tape recorders in order to obtain an apparently 'dated' sound with a melancholy background. “Pro Pop” thus embodies a different style than the noisy glories of a rave past, revealing his desire to get back into the game once more and, above all, to continue experimenting. After branding the history of made in Italy techno, experimenting with acid, breakbeat and house sounds, here is a more intimate Leo Anibaldi and, as always, against the tide.
A Morphology Of Wonders by TimelashTimelash is the evolution of Embassador Dulgoon’s cryptozoological sci-fi opus ‘Hydrorion Remnants’ converging with Corum’s surreal sonic mapping as ‘Beguiling Isles’. The combined cinematic vision jettisons listeners through a psychedelic wormhole far beyond the usual perception of known audio latitude. Aguirre has gone all out to inject this tribal dino DNA double slab of wax presented as twelve expansive and mesmerizing tracks of historical mutations linking early communication developments with speculative astrobiological impressions heard as mysterious & riveting melodies that wash over dizzying percussive styles and suspenseful ambience. A variety of unexampled sounds take shape throughout as tectonic tablature, reptilian choral movements, bubbling bioluminescence, tube calls, orogenic bells, crustacean chatter, lost continent scales, high plains drifting riffs, and primordial soup lapping splashes revealing to listeners a living mural that is ’A Morphology of Wonders'. The conjuring of cratonic creature harmonics resonate wildly from this interdimensional duet, emerging as Neopangaea music of now- Zakira Luna, Psychic Sounds Research
