Based in Paris, long-standing collective Consortium Records returns with US inspired deep grooves intertwining multiples elements from funky basslines, languorous samples and subtle rhythms. Starting on Da Funksteerz with sophisticated percussion arrangements on top of which sits a bass and a guitar. Ghetto continues with an more trip-hop oriented production layering samples and softly rattling sounds. Blue Eyed Bandit and Mean Love concludes with soaring synths and a wind instrument that transports us in a bewitching blend on a scenic road facing the Pacific ocean.
