After the boogie-disco landscapes of “Lido Sirena” and the housey spiritualities of “Aqua Viva”, Francesco Fisotti - producer, DJ and A&R of Quattro Bambole Records (aka GSQ) - opens a new chapter in his musical journey with “RISE”, a track featuring the soulful vocals of talented Apulian singer Lauryyn, one of the brightest voices of Italy’s emerging nu-soul scene.
The track confidently explores the paths of broken beat and future jazz, blending fractured grooves with soulful vibrations. It marks the first installment in a trilogy dedicated to movement: to the energy that flows through the body, to dance as spontaneous release, to space as something in constant transformation.
In the “Vocal Mix”, Lauryyn’s intense and refined voice rests on a layered and organic instrumental, enriched by Filippo Bubbico’s synths and harmonies, while Marco Chiriatti’s saxophone traces nocturnal curves over a breathless, suspended beat. The single is expanded through a set of remixes that broaden its perspectives: the “House Kitten Mix”, featuring Stefano Nardon’s elegant electric piano, leans into sensual, hazy deep house; the “Broken Mental Mix” pushes the percussive and futuristic elements, with a lead solo by Stefano De Santis, and two “auteur” remixes from Steal Tapes and XL Regular, reinterpreting the track with cinematic tension and sharp dancefloor sensibility.
