Continuing the hugely exciting Spring Revisited series in collaboration with Ace Records, we present a new 12” release – Fatback Band: ‘Snake (Joaquin ‘Joe’ Claussell’s Sacred Rhythm Version)’ + ‘Chillin’ Out (Kon’s Cool Out Remix)’

Originally featured on their 1978 album ‘Fired Up ’n Kickin’’, Fatback Band’s ‘Snake’ has long been a favourite among soul-funk heads. Now, it’s in the hands of one of Brooklyn’s finest – Joaquin ‘Joe’ Claussell – who gives it the full treatment. It’s backed with Kon’s ‘Cool Out Remix’ of ‘Chillin’ Out’, which was met with a great response when released as a digital single earlier this year, and rightly sees a side of wax.

The limited-edition 12” vinyl continues the beautiful design theme of the series, looking as if it was just sent to a New York DJ pool at the end of the ‘70s…
